General Description:
Rubber (or Silicone) tube, 8mm ID, 11 mm OD, for use with laboratory vacuum filtration. For Microbiological water testing (e.g. MICS). (Note: tube of 10 m for 50-75 filter sets).

Technical specifications:
Rubber (or Silicone) tube, 8mm ID, 11 mm OD (5/16"ID x 7/16"OD), for use with vacuum filtration of water samples in the context of Microbiological field water testing.

The tube is used for connecting a Pistol Grip Vacuum Pump or a 100ml standard Syringe with either a filter support Manifold or a Buchner type filtration flask with side-arm (tabulation), all with connection OD 8mm.
The tube shall be rigid enough to not collapse when pumping with a laboratory pistol grip hand pump.

Each vacuum set will need a cut piece of 15 cm (=150 mm) long tube, which will be cut by end users from the supplied longer tube length.

Note: The Silicone Tube is supplied in unit lengths of 10 meter (= 10 ,000 mm) appropriate for at least 50 vacuum filtration sets.
