General Description:
Sedimentation system kit for the Mobile Water Treatment Units specified under S0005846, S5006022 and S5006023.

Technical Specifications:
Sedimentation system or tank to be inserted after the coagulation/flocculation system of the Mobile Water Treatment Units specified under S0005846, S5006022 and S5006023, and before the water enters the filtration systems.

When operationally required, the sedimentation kit will include an additional pump set in order to re-establish the water pumping pressure of the system through the filters etc.

The sedimentation system kit will include all required accessories and piping as per the specification offered by the supplier and in order to connect the system into the relevant Mobile Water Treatment.

Important: If the sedimentation kit is ordered separately, i.e. not ordered together with a Mobile Water Treatment Unit, the Country Office must specify the exact brand and model of the Water Treatment Unit with which is supposed to be deployed.

If not conceived integrated in the Water Treatment Unit, the Sedimentation System is packed in a box of export quality.

Instructions for use:
The sedimentation kit is to be deployed where back wash of filters becomes too frequent and a higher risk of filter clogging occurs. The purpose is to diminish or eliminate the flocs by sedimentation instead of using the filters in order to improve the filtration process.
