Small size Thuraya handheld terminal with an easy-to-use interface and a favourable size for hand-carry and portable operations. Can also be used for a small office satellite phone connectivity with the appropriate docking station.
Requires an activation of a SIM card to access the Thuraya network through a UNICEF appointed Service Provider.
Users are encouraged to get acquainted with airtime rates and monthly recurrent charges.

Precondition for utilisation:
Users require basic training prior to having the Iridium handheld terminal assigned.

Any operation where portable solutions for satellite voice applications are required. The terminal can also be used as an office voice back-up connectivity and disaster recovery asset. Note: Note: Thuraya lack of global coverage.
